It a beautiful flower with white color and a fragrance used to make many of the top perfumes in the world. The leaves of the the Cherokee rose are about 3-10 cm long. Each leaf of the tree has 5 or more leaflets and their color is usually green. As for the height of the tree, this flower grows at the height of 5-10 feet of its tree and presents quite a beautiful scenery.

The English name of the flower was not given until it reached United States around the year 1780 and this is when it first got its English name. One of the associations of the flower is the trail of tears which is symbolized in many places including an American drama series being shot in Georgia called The Walking Dead.
